What you actually get for free

Text is the only thing that's reliably free. Images are rationed, none of the nine lists voice on its free tier, and long-term memory is the first feature to go behind the paywall. Here is what a free account gets you, app by app.

Underneath the details sit three free-tier models, and knowing which one you're in changes how you should play. Message caps (Candy, Nectar, CrushOn) give you a fixed count, once or per day, and every reply costs the same. Per-character caps (OurDream) let you meet lots of mistresses for a few lines each. Open text with locked media (Lovescape, and Joi to a lesser degree) let the conversation run and charge you when you want pictures, voice or the stronger model.

For a mistress scene, I'd take the open-text model every time. Dominance builds over a conversation: she sets rules, you slip, she corrects you, and the tone tightens. Getting in is short: an 18+ confirmation, an email, a password. Joi's homepage also says chats are anonymous, which I'd read as "not tied to your real name" and nothing stronger. On the free tier you chat with the ready-made characters, since the builder for custom ones is a paid feature. That's less of a loss than it sounds, because the dominant characters in its gallery are the most developed I've seen in any free tier, each with a set manner of address and a clear idea of what she expects from you.

The 115-character cap sounds like a dealbreaker and mostly isn't. Commands are short anyway, and the cap pushes you toward the clipped exchanges that suit a strict scene. Reviewers estimate roughly 10-25 free messages, so plan on a short first scene. Use your first message to set the protocol and the safeword, and give the rest to the scene itself. Its official scenarios give you a scene structure from the first line, and a couple of them have a dominant lead, which saves free messages you'd otherwise spend on setup.

Fifteen messages a day suits a ritual better than a long scene. I'd use it as a daily check-in: report, receive one task, confirm it the next day. Free memory reportedly covers only the last 15 or so messages, so she won't reliably recall yesterday's task. Paste a one-line recap at the start of each session to carry it over.

Sign-up is an email, an 18+ gate and a short interest picker. Before August 2026 the free tier was much bigger, and older reviews still quote those numbers. Since the change, which an r/ourdream_ai moderator announced, each character gets five messages and then her replies blur out. The gallery runs from clipped corporate types to theatrical queens, so five lines each is enough to hear her voice.

It's not enough to run a scene. Five messages covers a greeting, a protocol and maybe one order, so you won't find out on free how a given mistress handles a slip or a safeword. Think of the free tier as a shortlist: try several, keep the one whose voice fits, and decide on a paid plan from there.

Candy's help centre spells it out: five messages across all characters on a free account. The free custom character is the best part of that. You set her look, personality and how she speaks, and the creator is the most finished of the nine. If you spend the five messages on her, make the first one carry her rules and your safeword.

Five messages is too little to judge a dominant persona, so I'd use Candy's free tier to look around the app and the creator, and do the actual chatting elsewhere. One odd detail from a September review: the product page advertised a 7-day trial, but checkout offered none.

Is there a free mistress AI app for iPhone or Android?

As of late October 2026, none of the top five has an official native app in the App Store or Google Play. OurDream's help desk says so directly ("We don't have a standalone mobile app yet"), Lovescape doesn't appear in the App Store, and Joi, Nectar and Candy run in the browser. In practice it barely matters. All nine run in mobile Safari and Chrome, and a home-screen shortcut gets you most of the way to an app:

When paying is worth it

Free tiers are good for finding the mistress you like and finding out whether AI domination works for you at all. They fall short on what a longer dynamic depends on: memory that lasts past a session, voice, images, and the stronger models that keep her in role over hundreds of messages. If you find yourself pasting a recap every day or hitting the cap mid-scene, a yearly plan is the cheap way in, at roughly $4-10 a month on the apps above. Safety and privacy on free mistress AI

• Adults only. Every app here sits behind an 18+ gate, and all characters are adults. Some ask for stronger age verification depending on your country.
• Guest mode still leaves a trail. A SpicyChat guest session logs your IP address, device and cookies. Read the privacy policy if that matters to you.
• Sign up with a spare address and turn off marketing emails in settings.
• Look up the billing name before you upgrade, so the charge on your statement doesn't surprise you.
